A seasoned CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, serves as a Founding Partner of Private Label Wealth—a distinguished financial firm specializing in comprehensive wealth management, investment strategies, retirement and estate planning, insurance solutions, strategic tax planning, and business owner services. With over two decades of experience in financial services and a reputation for integrity, Cliff is dedicated to guiding individuals and small businesses towards their financial aspirations.
Recognizing the unique needs of each client, Cliff prioritizes understanding their specific circumstances before offering tailored recommendations. He is committed to empowering clients through education, helping them set achievable goals, navigate financial decisions, and implement effective strategies aligned with their personal plans.
Cliff earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Colorado and received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification while studying towards a master’s degree in finance at the University of San Diego.
Outside of work, Cliff finds joy in traveling with his wife and two sons, having explored 55 countries across six continents

With over 20 years of experience in financial services, Joseph brings a deep commitment to honesty and a desire for lifelong partnerships to every client relationship. He is dedicated to helping families and small businesses achieve their financial goals, no matter where they are in their journey.
Understanding that each client has unique needs, Joseph takes the time to learn about their specific situations before offering personalized recommendations. He is passionate about empowering clients through education, helping them set realistic goals, make informed financial decisions, and implement strategies that align with their individual plans.
Joseph earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California at Berkeley. He and his wife, Anna, live in the Bay Area with their three children: Holden, Sawyer, and Keeley. Outside of work, Joseph enjoys participating in his children’s activities, traveling, reading, self-development, serving on the board of the YMCA, and competing in any sport he can participate in.

With a robust 25-year career in Financial Services and Human Resources, Patti has honed her expertise and leadership skills to drive exceptional results for her clients and team. She holds a Business Management degree from Virginia Tech, which laid the foundation for her successful career.
Patti excels in creating straightforward and streamlined processes, with a sharp focus on customer satisfaction and ensuring ease of doing business. She holds Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement certifications, underscoring her commitment to operational excellence. Her dedication to integrity and a strong work ethic has been the cornerstone of her professional journey.
Patti has an ongoing interest in learning, self-discovery, and exploring new ideas, constantly seeking to enhance her skills and knowledge to grow personally and bring the very best service to our clients and partners. A versatile professional with a unique background, Curt serves as the SVP of Technology at Private Label. Coming from a successful 14-year career as a film executive and producer, Curt brings a wealth of experience to the firm's technology services.
Curt leverages his skills in streamlining intricate workflows, implementing creative solutions to multifaceted challenges, and harmonizing diverse team needs & interests to enhance Private Label's technological infrastructure and client experience. His approach combines creativity with precision, ensuring innovative solutions that meet the diverse needs of the firm's clientele.
Curt graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography with a BA in Film Studies. Outside of work, he has a family-first focus and enjoys woodworking, photography, and working out.

Stephen Grochol began working in finance as an insurance agent, first with Allstate and then with New York Life, before becoming a wealth advisor. His career shift enabled him to do what he does best: Instead of selling products, he works closely with clients to craft financial plans and put them into action over decades-long relationships. He specializes in working with business owners; helping them make the transition from their working years into fulfilling retirements is one of his favorite parts of the job. As a financial planner with Private Label Wealth Management, my role is to serve as your Family CFO, coordinating all aspects of your financial life. We provide the data to take the emotion out of emotional financial decisions.
Stephen volunteers at St. Ignatius High School (his alma mater), St. Gregory School, Samaritan House and the San Mateo Elks Lodge. He spends a lot of time attending his kids' sporting events and performances. As a soon-to-be empty nester with his eldest daughter now in college, Stephen enjoys spending his free time bowling, playing softball, golf, and bocce.

James Kimber

James began his career as a U.S. Marine Infantry Officer, dedicating nearly 30 years to service, including two combat tours in Iraq. Throughout his military tenure, he upheld the principles of honor, courage, and commitment, which now guide his work as a financial advisor. Transitioning from military service, James applies his leadership skills and personable approach to help clients navigate their financial journeys.
He and his team deliver personalized, thorough financial plans, empowering clients with the information needed to make impactful choices, alleviate financial stress, and create a path to prosperity for themselves and their families. A valued resource in the military community, James helps active, reserve, guard, and veteran members integrate government programs with tailored investment and risk solutions, in pursuit of the financial freedom they deserve.
James earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Arizona, an MBA from Averett University, and a Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. He resides in Denver with his wife, four children, and two dogs. In his free time, James enjoys family activities, traveling, sports, and refining his archery and marksmanship skills.
